Drillbotics® is an international competition for university students requiring hands-on experience by petroleum, mechanical, electrical, and control engineers who must build and operate a lab-scale working drilling rig. Students develop experience working in multi-disciplinary teams, which is important in today's technology driven industries. More information, photos, and videos are available at www.Drillbotics.com.
The 2018-2019 winning team from the University of Oklahoma will present their design and lessons learned in a paper at the IADC/SPE International Conference in Galveston. Learn more about the program by attending the presentation. You will meet some of the most creative students and industry experts who can help you develop your own drilling automation program.
