DSATS (SPE’s Drilling Systems Automation Technical Section) and ART (IADC’s Advance Rig Technology Committee) are holding a half-day symposium on Monday, 2 March, to highlight the latest success stories, as well as a few lessons learned, in the broad area of Drilling Systems Automation.
The symposium will have two parts. In the first part, there will be distinguished speakers sharing their experience on topics such as cybersecurity, digital twins, and supervisory control. The speakers and topics will be published on this page soon.
The second part will provide an opportunity to all those working and investing in Drilling Automation to present their case about the benefits they realize for themselves or for their clients. The focus will be on technology advances, as well as value creation. Presenters will include operators, service providers, and drilling contractors.
