By registering for this online event, you consent to allow SPE to store and process the information submitted and to provide you with information about this programme; and accept the Registration Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.

Registration Fee

Registration of participant will only be confirmed upon registration and receipt of full payment.

All outstanding payments must be received on or prior to the date of the online event for participants to be allowed to attend. SPE reserves the right to cancel the registration if no payment is received prior to or on the date of the event.

Registration for this online event is personal to you and viewing materials may not be shared with non-registered individuals without express consent from SPE.

VAT Regulations

Attendance fees are conducted under both the UK Value Added Tax Act 1994, as amended and the EC VAT law contained in Council Directive 2006/112/EC (Principal VAT Directive) and Council Regulation (EC) No. 1777/2005 (Implementing Regulation). The Implementing Regulation has direct effect from 1 January 2011.

Cancellation Policy

Email your cancellation request to formslondon@spe.org  

Registration fees will be fully refunded if the request is received 24 hours before a live event.

In the event that SPE must cancel this event, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded. Please allow 14 working days for the processing of any refunds.


SPE reserves the right to cancel a virtual event if number of participants is not sufficient. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice will be given.

SPE reserves the right to change the speaker(s), date(s), or to cancel the virtual event should circumstance beyond its control arises.

SPE will not be liable to you for any damages, costs, losses, reimbursements or expenses of any kind what so ever incurred or suffered by you as a result of or in relation to SPE modifying, postponing or cancelling this event or any part of the programme or any technical problems with the event beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser.

The SPE/IADC Virtual International Drilling Conference and Exhibition online platform includes a robust Artificial Intelligence (AI) networking function, which allows all registered participants to find and connect with each other through the platform.  The information that you share during registration will be used to create your profile on the platform: this does not include any contact information. You will have the ability to edit your profile once you have joined the online platform in March 2021. This virtual event is being hosted by Swapcard, which is processing the data attributed to this event and will not be used by Swapcard or given by Swapcard to any other organisation.

SPE complies with all applicable privacy laws, including GDPR, in collecting and processing your data.  SPE collects and processes data for the purposes of fulfilling your registration order, analysing how this site performs and is used, and marketing for future related SPE events. By engaging with exhibition stands or sponsor content, users are consenting to exhibiting and sponsoring companies having access to the personal data that is public in their personal profile.
