Jesus Lamas is the President of Well Construction, a position he assumed in July 2020, located in Houston, TX.

Prior to his current role and over the course of his 23-year career with Schlumberger, he held various executive management positions including President of Rig Performance Technologies, President of Schlumberger Mexico and Central America, Vice President Land Rigs for the Western Hampshire, Vice President Drilling and Measurements Latin America,
and Director of Schlumberger Human Resources Latin America.

Earlier in his Schlumberger career, Lamas held several engineering and management positions in operations, technology and business development in North America, Latin America, and Asia. He began his career with Schlumberger in 1998 as a field engineer in Algeria.

Lamas holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolivar, Venezuela, a Schlumberger Strategic Finance Program Certificate from the International Institute for Management Development, Switzerland and a Master of Science in Oil and Gas Industry Management from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
