Technical Session
Learning is a process of pattern recognition, through repetition and outcomes. Visual patterns are powerful indicators for a trained eye or machine to prompt a response. Creating the correct response requires sufficient data, distinguishing the nuance in similar patterns which require a different response. Gamification and Artificial Intelligence are two different approaches to improve visual data fidelity. This technical session focuses on gaming methods and computer vision. Discussion will surround the benefits of game based training over traditional methods and the capabilities of computer vision to improve visual comprehension with respect to cuttings management.
